We really enjoyed our week at Hendrifton caravan site in September.Suzanne and David were welcoming and friendly and the site was peaceful and well maintained with lovely views all around. It was in a good position for visiting places but also a very relaxing place to sit and enjoy the surrounding views and listen to all the birds. We are looking forward to visiting next year!! Our first stay last week. What a lovely welcome and beautiful location. CL site has plenty of space, nice shower and toilets and a super adjacent field that you can exercise a dog in. A great location to explore Cornwall from. We got to stargaze too. Thank you Suzanne and David September 2023

What can I say. Have now been to the CL Caravan Site for 4th year in succession. Always receive a warm and friendly welcome. Site is clean and well laid out (even bigger this year). Suzanne and David are fantastic site owners, helpful and always available to help but never intrusive. We love this site. We love the walks from it and exploring the areas nearby. Spent three nights at the CL campsite, receiving a warm welcome from both Suzanne and David who were wonderful hosts.There is a clean double toilet block with excellent shower. A variety of walks include the moors, down through the valley to Golitha Falls and the nearby Siblyback lake with cafe providing great food. We will definitely be back. 17th August 2023

Our first visit was this spring and we have just returned from another amazing break with Suzanne and David who are wonderful hosts. We have booked a third stay in the autumn- we think that says it all! :) 12.8.23

We have been coming to Hendrifton for almost ten years now. Firstly in their wonderful caravan field, and for the past two years to April cottage. There is one clear reason why we keep coming back, Suzanne and David plus Bob and Reka. Their kindness, care and warmth make a stay at Hendrifton an experience to remember. It just so happens that the accommodation is also perfect with absolutely everything you need including the most incredible scones on arrival! The surrounding area is beautiful too with moorland walks, and both coasts within easy reach. We hope to continue to have many a happy stay here. 12.8.23

We returned to our special, happy place for the 8th time (7th year) A great CL, of a high standard, located near Bodmin Moor with easy access to both Coasts for villages and beaches. An abundance of walks, wildlife and beauty on/from the site and further a field . Suzanne and David provide a warm welcome, knowledge and went out of their way to go 'the extra mile ' to make each stay fantastic. The home baking ,cream tea and breads are a lovely treat . We can't wait to return . 7th August 2023

This is a double edged sword as we love Hendrifton and would like to keep it a secret but honestly, this place is so special. The cottages are wonderful with fabulous attention to detail and literally everything you could want has been anticipated and provided. The location is truly beautiful and close to everything you could want either walking or in the car. We love how dog friendly it is and feel totally relaxed the minute we arrive. What we feel makes Hendrifton what is though as well as the wonderful cottages is Suzanne and David, who literally are THE best hosts. We love coming back to Hendrifton time and time again....you will not be disappointed but shhh don't tell everyone. 3rd August 2023

We have come here for a few years now and stayed in April Cottage (Field View this time). Why do we keep coming back? Firstly it is very reasonably priced and we love these cottages, so homely; secondly it is conveniently located for us as prefer to travel to different places, and it doesn't take long to get on the A38; thirdly the area is beautiful and quiet; fourthly and most importantly we love David and Suzanne. We have never been so welcomed on holiday as we have here - a real home from home where nothing is too much trouble for our hosts! Highly recommended. 2nd August 2023

From the moment you arrive at Hendrifton you are made to feel most welcome, and consequently relax into the holiday mode straight away. David and Suzanne are the perfect hosts, and that's not just because of the delicious cream tea that awaits the weary traveller. Nothing is too much trouble. Hendrifton is well situated to visit local attractions and pretty moorland walks. The campsite field is well kept, and the immaculate cottages are most comfortable and well equipped. Our three dogs love socialising with the resident hounds Bob and Reka in the safe surrounding fields. We are regular visitors to this Cornish haven and would recommend a visit to anyone. 1st August 2023
